"Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and LeeAnn Carrera of Tampa, Florida are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Luisanna Carolina Carrera, to Ryan Clayton Timmons. The couple are to be wed on August 1, 205 in Washington, D.C. Ryan graduated from Redford University and is currently an officer for the United States Army. Luisanna graduated from George Mason University and works as a Development coordinator for U.S.VETS - a non profit organization proving services to homeless veterans and their families. Luisanna's great great grandfather was Eladio Paula, first president of the El Circle Cubano. Her great-grandfather, Francisco Carrera, was a cigar-maker turned proprietor of El Malecom, a toy store and fine gifts store on 7th Avenue. Luisanna's grandfather Luis Carols Carrera, Sr. worked at Gradiaz-Annis cigar factory. Her father, Lloyd Carrera, was born at the Centro Asturiano Hospital in Ybor City."
